During this immersion we will be offering the basic principles of the art of handson assisting and apply them to the flow of Surya Namaskar A and B and the most common standing poses and seated asanas.

We will dive deeper into the energetics, key actions and common misalignments of poses and their modifications. You will learn to observe and to cultivate an understanding of what to look for as a foundation for safe and effective assists. 

We will start the day with a practice that is focussed on the art of Self Assists, before we start to practice assisting each other.

Course Essentials:

• 1 Embodiment practice (focussed on self-assists)

• Foundation principles of the Art of Touch

• Thorough analysis of the energetics, kramas and modifications of asanas

• Hands on assisting techniques for Surya Namaskar A & B and the main standing and seated asanas in vinyasa yoga
